 LOL ......

It has been more than two years since the game has been released but until now, Daily Star UK says the game developer has yet to produce a single DLC. The company has produced numerous free downloadable items for "Grand Theft Auto Online" players but no real news on a possible DLC.

In the picture, Forteno can be seen wearing a motion caption suit. Reports indicate that the news should be taken with a grain of salt.

For one, Christian Today notes that there is no proof that the photo was taken recently. This is also not the first time fans have had their hopes dashed.

Looking back to November 2013, the UK-based publication says the game developer announced that they were already working on the DLC story and had "big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor's action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas."

Just a few months after that, Rockstar Games stated that they were working on content for both "Grand Theft Auto Online"and "Grand Theft Auto 5," including a DLC. Since then, no official updates have been released.

Rumors are also circulating that Fonteno may be using his antics again. A Game Rant report was quick to point out that last year, Fonteno conducted an interview where he confirmed that the developer was already working on the DLC for GTA 5.

Leslie Benzie's surprising departure from Rockstar has also gotten some fans worried about the direction of the Grand Theft Auto franchise including GTAs 5, 6 and 'GTA Online.' According to a report by Express, Benzies "went on a sabbatical" back in Sept. 2014 and has not been seen since.

Neurogadget says the game's design director Imran Sarwar has issued a statement stating, "Right now our focus is on GTA Online which has exceeded our expectations. We currently have all key members of the team that launched Grand Theft Auto V focused on supporting GTA Online in every capacity."

There is still hope for a DLC. In 2015, Game Rant says Rockstar revealed details on which consoles can play the content.

According to the video game publication, any future DLC can only be played on current-generation platforms. This includes PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.

"Grand Theft Auto 5" is available for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.
