While Jennifer Aniston is excited to chomp on tacos with the “Taco Cleanse,” actor Chris Pratt starts the year by introducing a new diet plan that he calls the “Game Plan.”

“The game plan,” the actor wrote in an Instagram post that shows a photo of him packing some meat. “Join me.”

Here's what Pratt said about his diet idea:

“Oh! I should tell you: I'm going to start a diet I called "The Game Plan" where basically I only eat wild game for a year. "The Game Plan," get it? Cause GAME?”

Peter Quill, or the actor that portrayed him, said that he plans to do this because he loved spending his free time during his younger years “hunting, fishing and being outdoors with friends and family.” Apparently, the outdoorsman likes his diet “wild,” as per People.

“I grew up in the woods,” the 36-year-old actor explained. “Not literally. I mean, we had a house. I wasn't raised by coyotes. But I spent a lot of time in the woods.”

“That part of me will never change,” he said.

While the “Jurassic World” actor's game plan also includes other food items such as vegetables and fruits, it has its own caveats too, as noted by Entertainment Tonight.

“I mean I'm gonna still eat eggs and probably chicken and probably steak I mean I gotta have steak and oysters and definitely bacon,” Pratt said. “And the occasional burger for a cheat meal.”

Ah, the cheat meal. If he decides to stick to his diet announcement, though, he'll be chomping down on venison and other game meats.

Other than that, Pratt said that he will also have pepperoni, “pepperchinis” and sushi because “[sushi is] so good.” He could probably catch his own fish for sushi, don't you think?

“I will be eating turkey for thanksgiving. Probably fried. That's the best,” he added. “And also ham. For Easter we make lamb. That's great. Ill have to have lamb that day.”

For those who don't know, Pratt had bouts with almost 300 pounds of weight at his heaviest, as he told Health. He reportedly admitted to eating about four burgers every time the script for “Parks and Recreation” was read and, of course, this led to him gaining a lot of weight.

Now, the blockbuster star seems giddy about his new diet plan and considers it all “worth the sacrifice.”

"The Game Plan," Pratt wrote. “Who's with me!?”
