Huawei's P9 smartphone line will reportedly have four variants, according to the latest leak rumors.

In the previous leaked design and specs for the P9, the dual rear camera may likely be happening for the handsets in series. According to Phone Arena, the unnamed P9 phone will be the only handset to have this feature. All handsets will come out of the box running on Android Marshmallow.

The leak also revealed that the Huawei P9 phone will be powered by octa-core Kirin 950 processors. According to Tech Times, the processor reportedly impressed with a multi-core score of 7,313 which would mean that it is better in terms of processing compared to the unnamed phone with a multi-core score of only 7,037. It is rumored to run on a deco-core CPU and Helio X20 chip.

In terms of design, the P9 line will reportedly step away from the look of its predecessors. The outlet adds that it might have a curved design and significantly more different than the P8. The leak also shows that the P9 will have a thinner body with a physical home button. It might even include a fingerprint scanner to add more purpose to the physical home button. However, the scanner might be situated at the back of the phone instead.

With the Mobile World Congress 2016 event rapidly approaching next month in Barcelona, Spain of Feb. 22-25, Huawei will reportedly not make it in time. The outlet reports that Huawei will be unveiling their new flagship line in March onward this year. According to the Android Community, the P9 will reportedly fetch a price tag of 2,888 yuan (at least $420). The price for other models is still unknown.
