When "Game of Thrones" Season 5 ended with Jon Snow being stabbed to death by his comrades, there's been an uproar from GOT fans arguing if Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) is indeed leaving the hit HBO series or if he's still coming back for "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Recently, his co-star Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, dropped a huge hint about Jon Snow's fate, E! Online reports

During the London Film Critic's Circle Awards, the news outlet caught up with Williams, where the young actress spilled some beans on what may happen to Jon Snow.

Williams revealed, "It was awful. It was awful. Everyone was so sad about it, and I feel so mean because I speak to people and they're all like, 'Jon Snow, is he back?' And it's really heartbreaking because people are like, 'Yeah, but he's coming back though?' It's a great twist, but I can't say he's going to be alive."

Mashable notes that during the last line, Williams put an emphasis on the word "alive" and even made a face after saying it, which may hint something about what will happen on "Game of Thrones" Season 6.

According to Cinema Blend, there are some fan theories on how Jon Snow will be alive for Season 6. Melisandre, who left Stannis Baratheon in the battle against Winterfell, went back to The Wall, which may give a hint that he realized that the king she is looking for is not Stannis but Jon Snow. Fans speculate that Melisandre may bring back Jon Snow from the dead and come back as Azor Ahai.

E! Online noted that for the past months, Harrington said that his character is indeed dead. Everyone, including Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, has been mum about what will happen to Jon Snow despite fans' speculation that he might rise up from the dead.

When asked about Jon Snow's fate during HBO's Golden Globes Party, Clarke only said, "I really can't say much apart from you'll see the biggest moments on television that have ever existed."

Meanwhile, during the interview, Williams also shared her excitement for the new season of "Game of Thrones."

"I loved shooting this series, I think people are going to really enjoy it. Everything is now sort of wracking up and slotting into place for like, the finale, and I love that all the pieces are coming together," she said as quoted by Mashable.

Are you excited to see "Game of Thrones" Season 6? The fantasy series will return to HBO on April 24 at 9 p.m. ET, per Cinema Blend.
