"Street Fighter V" will be released next month, but the full story mode will be released by June 2016.

With 16 fighters completing the roster for "Street Fighter V," the game is ready to be launched on Feb. 16. The game will include 16 different stories for each character so players will be able to know more about them through single-player mode. The characters that made it to the fifth installment are Ryu, Chun-Li, Nash, M.Bison, Cammy, Birdie, Ken, Necalli, Vega, R. Mika, Rashid, Karin, Zangief, Laura, Dhalsim, and F.A.N.G.

Watch the trailer below:

The last beta for the game will begin on Jan. 30, 12:01 a.m. PT until Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. PT. Like its previous betas, those who are allowed access are those who have pre-ordered their copies for the game.

According to Mashable, the game setting takes place between the timelines of "Street Fighter IV" and "Street Fighter III" and the "Character Stories" will add to the "Story Expansion" for the game that will be released by June 2016. The DLC will be free and will ultimately reveal more about the "Street Fighter" Universe.

Additionally, the trailer also reveals that M. Bison and his criminal ring will be the main protagonists of the story. Capcom-Unity reports that stories have been illustrated by Bengus, a famous Japanese illustrator who has worked in the franchise for a few years before leaving Capcom in 2006.

The story mode will feature several hours' worth of cinematic sequences. In an interview with Engadget, series producer Yoshinori Ono explained why they are incorporating story content in their fighting games.

When asked about how they developed the game to attract both old generation gamers and new generations alike, Ono said:

"My goal is to really make Street Fighter as an eSport [more] mainstream. When you look back just two years ago, in 2014, we had the Capcom Cup right here at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco, and just recently we had the Capcom Cup 2015 take place at the PlayStation Experience Event."

He adds that while other games like "League of Legends" have bigger prize pools, other console games that compete with "Street Fighter V" don't have as much presence or edge.

When asked about his reaction about fans asking for a single-player story mode, he states that he regrets not putting in the story mode a little sooner but just as glad that there are people who are interested about the background stories of the characters.
