Breastfeeding in public has been an issue in the U.S. for a time, with many people having mixed reactions about the practice. "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star Kim Kardashian has recently given her two cents about the matter, per E! Online.

According to the news outlet, Kardashian, who recently gave birth to her second baby Saint West with husband Kanye West, shared her thoughts on public breastfeeding in her website/app. On the post titled "My Thoughts on Breastfeeding," Kardashian says that she understands why some women breastfeed in public but admits that she's not inclined to practicing it.

"I know some people find breastfeeding such a private, personal experience, while other people are very open and even breastfeed in public. Now that I'm a mom, I say whatever makes you comfortable goes," the mother-of-two wrote.

Kardashian further explained, "I still personally wouldn't breastfeed at a restaurant with a bunch of people I didn't know staring at me. I've seen this before and remember tweeting how shocked I was. Now that I'm a mom, I'm not that shocked, especially if you have a few kids and can't leave to breastfeed one kid in the bathroom while leaving the others at the table. But I still personally wouldn't do it, unless it was an emergency situation and I was fully covered."

On her post, Kardashian also talked about how it was not hard for her to breastfeed and uses nipple shields whenever she breastfeeds her child. However, Kardashian also made an exception on some occasion where she is willing to breastfeed her child around people. According to her, she's comfortable doing it while with friends and family.

"I would however breastfeed in front of my girlfriends. I think it's such a natural experience and I'm not shy about that. I know so many people get backlash for posting breastfeeding pics, but I don't mind them!" the reality star said.

In a report from People, Kardashian also revealed how her eldest child, North West, tried to stop her from breastfeeding Saint West as she would feel "left out." To prevent this, Kardashian shared that she has included her daughter by letting her "pump and have her feed him the bottle."

As for her thoughts on breastfeeding, Kardashian concluded her post by saying that she's just sharing her thoughts on the article. "I know people have their opinions on how others should live their lives and I try not to be judgmental anymore -- this is simply just my opinion," she said as quoted by E! Online.
