'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice' Trailer & Cast: Scoot McNairy's Role Revealed! Influenced by Lex Luthor? [Rumors]

DC fans are definitely thrilled for the release of the new "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie. Every speculation and every rumor will only make all the fans excited, which is a good hype build up for the upcoming film.

There have been several rumors with regard to this new adventure movie such as the plot, who's who, release and so forth.

The latest speculation that hit the news today is the actual role of Scoot McNairy in the film. Movie Pilot shared previous rumors about the actor playing the Flash appeared to be not true since everybody already know that Ezra Miller will be playing the role of the fastest man on earth.

A new photograph of McNairy showed up over the Internet revealing his role in the movie. Apparently, the actor will portray Jimmy Olsen, a fictional character who appears in several DC comics. Olsen, works at the same paper company where Clark Kent is also working, was injured in the Battle of Metropolis between Superman and General Zod.

Reports claimed a character that is on wheelchair will testify against Superman at the U.S. Senate hearing. Apparently, it will be McNairy, who will play that character. The report also claims that Olsen was manipulated by Lex Luthor to turn against the Man of Steel in an effort to destroy him.

This revelation is definitely big news for the fans of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice."

Nevertheless, this rumor has not been confirmed by the production company.

Meanwhile, during his earlier interview, McNairy was quick to deny questions regarding his part in the movie.

"It's definitely 100% a character I've never played and I can't speak too freely on it, but yeah, getting into that thing was definitely something I had to wrap my head around emotionally in order to play that character," the actor said in a statement gathered by Cinema Blend.

"But with that being said, I had a lot of fun doing it when I was in the process of shooting on it - my head was in a different place but I'm really excited to see how it turns out and what they do with it and see the film."

The movie cast members will be headed by Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit the theaters on March 25, 2016.
