The 2016 United States Presidential election is coming and one of the most sensitive issues people want to hear from the candidates is their stand on health care.

Each candidate has expressed their opinion with regard to the Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act.

Jed Bush

WebMD shared that Republican candidate Jed Bush wants to repeal Obamacare once he becomes the next president of the United States. He would also allow small business owners to make tax-free contributions for the health plans of the people who are working for them. However, he did not comment on the increasing price of drugs in the market.

Donald Trump

Controversial Republican candidate Donald Trump would also repeal Obamacare if he is chosen as the next U.S. President. He is also against abortion unless it is a special case like incest, rape or when the woman is at risk. According to Medscape, Trump does not have an official health care plan as of yet.

Ted Cruz

Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas is also against abortion in all cases. Like the rest of the Republican candidates, Cruz would also repeal Obamacare once he becomes the leader of the country. He would also like to expand the health savings account of the people by allowing each American to contribute without having to worry about the tax.

Marco Rubio

Meanwhile, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida would also repeal Obamacare if he becomes the next president. He said that he will replace it with a new plan of his own. He would also ask to expand the medical savings account to cover the excess medical expenses that are not included in a person's insurance policy.

Hillary Clinton

Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton supports the Obamacare and would most likely continue with the policy once she becomes the president of the U.S. She would also allow any American to bring in imported drugs from countries that have the same safety standards as the U.S. Drug companies will also have to ask for FDA clearance for their ads.

Bernie Sanders

Vermont senator Bernie Sanders is not against Obamacare but he would like to have a "Medicare-for-all" single-payer system. This type of health care plan would benefit many Americans from comprehensive health services. If Sanders wins this election, all private health insurance will only exist to give supplemental coverage.

With the increasing price of health care policies, several Americans are living without any medical insurance today. Majority of the voters will likely choose a candidate, which platform includes the best health care reform that would benefit many Americans.
