A user on the NeoGAF forum pointed out that "Final Fantasy 15" might be having a PC version. According to Game Spot, the user discovered link placeholders for Steam and Windows 10 for the game in the JavaScript of the event page found on the game's website.

Additionally, more information such as the trailer, FAQ, schedule and live stream are scheduled to be added as well. The code in the event page is reportedly similar to the one used for the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" page. However, there is no official word for the PC release of the game. What is only known is that it will have a PS4 and Xbox One release.

The PC rumor was debunked according to a report by The Bit Bag. It's true that the code from the game and the "Rise of the Tomb Raider" is the same as Square Enix only copied it. However, this does not mean that a PC version exists. The code has now been removed from the "Final Fantasy" page.

The mentioned event page referred to the upcoming event by Square Enix next month. The company is set to reveal new information about "Final Fantasy 15" during the "Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV" event happening on March 30 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The event will begin at 7 PM PT and will be hosted by Kinda Funn's Greg Miller and Tim Gettys.

Fans based in the US can reserve a ticket at the game's website starting February 5. For Final Fantasy fans outside of the US, they won't be able to miss out as the event will be live-streamed via YouTube and Twitch.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, major announcements and surprises will be revealed during the event. The release date, new details and information about the upcoming JRPG game will also be released. Pre-orders for the game have begun even though the release date has not been revealed.

"Final Fantasy 15" game director Hajime Tabata confirmed that the game will be released before the end of 2016 and fans can play it before 2017. He also confirmed that the full game;s combat has been improved and made more fun than the demo that was released last year. Players will also be able to explore more areas in the upcoming game as well.
