People who adopt veganism will now have their own flavors of ice cream from Ben & Jerry's. As one of the most popular ice cream brand in the United States, Ben & Jerry's will extend their market to people with lactose-intolerance, who apparently have forgotten what an ice cream tastes like. The company will officially launch the new four flavors in the coming months, according to a report by New York Daily News.

According to the company, they didn't want to develop an ice cream that would not taste like ice creams. After so many attempts to do that in a span of two years, they have finally found the perfect recipe.

They first tried to make a vegan ice cream using soy milk and coconut products; however, it did not work as the taste did not pass quality control. They continued their development until they found out that sweet almond milk base is the missing piece they have been looking for.

"The goal was to make it look and taste like our regular ice cream," said food scientist Kirsten Schimoler of Ben & Jerry's.

Thanks to their effort, a vegan favorite of a nondairy ice cream will soon hit the grocery store, along with their best selling products.

According to Pop Sugar, as soon as the news was heard by the public, the vegan people immediately embrace the idea and they are excited to finally get their own version of ice cream.

These are the four nondairies Ben & Jerry's ice cream flavor.

P.B. Cookies

For the people who have tasted all four flavors, they said this is the winner. It tastes the best especially with its peanut butter flavor. They said that they can quickly taste the almond milk in it.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie

It does not taste as good as P.B. Cookies but, still, it is vegan and nondairy. Some people who tasted it gave it a very low rating. They said it tasted more like a chocolate ice cream than a vegan ice cream.

Chunky Monkey

Chunky Monkey has been an all-time best ice cream for Ben & Jerry's fanatics; however, it did not quite impress the taste buds of the vegan people. They said it is still good, but not as good as P.B. Cookies.

Coffee Caramel Fudge

This is probably the flavor that got too much attention aside from the favorite P.B. cookies. Other said it's good while others showed their appreciation by saying that the ice cream is incredible.
