Latin rock band Mana will hold their 2016 US concert tour called "The Latino Power Tour" in the fall. The tour will start on Sept. 9 at San Diego's Viejas Arena. They will be touring in 18 cities around the US and with them comes messages and urging for Latinos to vote in the upcoming presidential elections.

"We have baptized our new tour 'Latino Power,' because with the strength of their collective vote this year, U.S. Latinos can further empower our community - demanding more respect and affecting real change in the living conditions and opportunities for our people," said Mana frontman Fher Olvera in a statement, as reported by Billboard.

Along with Olvera, the group is made up of guitarist Sergio Vallin, bassist Juan Calleros and drummer Alex Gonzales. This is not the first time that the group has been vocal about social issues including immigration and voting rights. Olvera also spoke out about Trump's comments against Mexican and Latin American immigrants.

"(Trump) said we were trash; he said that the people who came from Latin America and Mexico are rapists, thugs, and drug dealers," Olvera said last year during a concert, as reported by The San Diego Union-Tribune.

"Those were his words. We feel pity for this incompetent man. I have never heard a speech as violent, or as filled with hatred - not since Hitler. Latinos and Mexicans came to this country to build it from the ground up. It doesn't matter what one cabrón said - just remember that he insulted our fathers, our mothers; he insulted everyone. And that is inadmissible. When you go out to vote, which is soon, you know what you have to do. "

According to PR Newswire, Mana's tour will include hit songs from their entire career including some from their Latin Grammy-winning Cama Incendiada álbum.
