"Every year, the Air Jordan is the most important product we create," Jordan Brand president Larry Miller said during the shoe's presentation at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago.  "Our goal every year is to create a product that is a leader in innovation."

Nike confirmed that those fans of the Air Jordans who would want to get their next pair can grab one of the XXXs on Feb. 12 at some retail stores across the country, the Footwear News also reported. For those asking where to buy online, you can check out Jordan.com. Each pair will come at a price of $200.

You can also checkout the YouTube video below from the Jordan Brand. The new commercial entitled, the "Make Space," features shoe endorser and Oklahoma Thunders superstar point guard Russell Westbrook.

The release date of the Air Jordan XXX coincides with the NBA 2015-2016 season's All-Star weekend. And, it's a safe bet that we are going to see a lot of the shoe from Westbrook and other players during the festivities.

"The Air Jordan XXX is a unique synthesis of Jordan's evolution as a player and a design collaborator," wrote Nike. "Each of the shoe's elements results from a key performance insight or design inspiration fundamental to the player and Jordan Brand's evolutions. "

The design process of the new shoe started when Jordan asked designer Tinker Hatfield to create a new shoe design that will mark the thirtieth anniversary of the Air Jordans during a dinner for his birthday in February 2015.

"The next morning I drew a shoe because I knew I was in deep trouble," Hatfield recounted. "We had no time. Then I realized it wasn't good enough to sketch a shoe. I asked for that particular photo of Michael in the slam dunk contest and then I drew."

The Air Jordan XXX design represents the five key components of the shoe—height, toe, traction, material and fit. According to Hatfield, one of the primary demands of Jordan is to make the shoe look fast. The shoe will also feature a new traction system and an exclusive mix of woven, knit and printed materials.
