Pictures of the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have leaked online showing three colors. According to an influential tipster @evleaks, the S7 Edge and the Galaxy S7 are rumoured to come out in colours silver, black and gold.

Techradar reports that @evleaks has once more provided a sneak preview of the famous Samsung handsets ahead of its launching in Barcelona on February 21. Last year, Techradar reports that the Galaxy S6 Edge was available in emerald green, black, white and gold.

It remains a mystery on whether the giant tech plans to add more colours. However, according to the news site, the leaked pictures looked to be genuine.

The pictures showing two colour options may mean that Samsung will initially release the Galaxy S7 in black and gold variants, reports Android Authority. This may have been a result of the fact that Galaxy S6 Edge proved to be more popular compared to the standard model, according to the report. This may continue in this year's launching with customers being torn between Galaxy S7 and its Edge version.

There are hints and suggestions released weeks prior that the back will have the same curve along the edges which is seen in the Galaxy Note 5, reports said. The pictures also show a bent home button especially seen in black models.

Meanwhile, the smaller Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a 5.1-inch screen with 1440x 2560 display. The smaller handset is also rumoured to run with the same specs as its larger counterpart. More so, the device will have 12 MP rear-facing cameras. The Galaxy S7 Edge will also have the same attachment camera.

The Galaxy S7 Edge also looks to be a little taller than the S7 according to leaks. A Silver platinum model is also shown. Like the S7, the Edge appears to be curved as well.

Aside from the colours of the Samsung's new flagship phone, Galaxy 7 Edge is expected to come with a 4 GB of RAM that will run on a 6.0 Marshmallow and will be powered by the Exynos 8890 chipset. The device is expected to have a 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display, the report added.

Most users anticipate the launching of this flagship phone because of its huge 3600mAh battery.

If the leaks prove to be correct, this is expected to spark questions why the handsets did not come in White or Rose Gold variant. The latter is assumed by many following Apple's usage with last year's iPhone 6s, reports Android Authority. This shade was even seen on the recently releases Samsung's Galaxy A 2016 series. Galaxy Note 5 also comes in the same shade.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be unveiled on Feb. 21 during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. Check out another review for the flagship devices from Canoopsy:
