The Xiaomi Redmi 3s which was very recently released on June this year seems to be facing a great rival in the tech market. The marvelous Meizu M5 has just been released in China and it is the complete package.

Compared to the Redmi 3s there is some difference in the main specifications of the Meizu M5. For starters the smartphone is available in two different versions that you can take your pick from.

The latest android phone from Meizu has 2 GB RAM + 16 GB ROM version as well as the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM version. Each is priced different at 699 yuan and 899 yuan respectively.

The Meizu M3 is the predecessor of this recently released smartphone that will be made available on all outlets this month. You can expect to purchase it in these colors: sapphire blue, champagne gold, mint green, matte black and white.

The M5, unlike the Redmi 3s, has its 5.2 inch screen and resolution of 720 × 1280 pixels. It also has a 2.5D curved glass design.

Indian Express reports that it also sports a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor which is higher than the Redmi 3s. Whichever version of the phone you might have bought has the capability to expand its ROM to 128 GB.

Concerning the camera, the M5 has a 13 MP rear camera with dual tone PDAF and LED flash. Not to mention the f/2.2 aperture. That is slightly bigger than the Redmi's camera's aperture.

As for the front camera the M5 smartphone has a 5 MP secondary camera with an f/2.0 aperture. According to Gadgets NDTV this phone has a fingerprint sensor as well which is located under the Home Button.

The sensor can read and scan fingerprints in under 0.2 seconds. Although the only flaw of this phone is that it has a weaker and smaller battery compared to the Redmi 3s that has 3070mAh.
