2016 has been quite the year for the tech market to explode with new Android smartphones and with severe rivalry against each other. Every brand tried to outsmart the other with phone models that exceeded all expectations.

Thanks to this insanely competitive rivalry where 2016 was blessed with a number of smartphones that are remarkably great from the point of view of technology. Not only are their reviews satisfactory but their specs are outstanding.

Here are a few of the best Android smartphones released this year for all those who are highly tech savvy.

The Google Pixel

After quitting its line of Nexus smartphones, Google started a new one called Pixel smartphones and they did not disappoint. Two models under the names of Pixel and Pixel XL were released last month and their specifications reach for the sky.

The strong Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 Exynos 8890 Octa processor is supported with an equally powerful 3600 mAh battery. Not to mention the 4 GB RAM and variable internal memory of 32/64 GB and microSD slots.

The LG V20

This smartphone is the only phone in this list with an enormous 5.7-inch LCD screen and 2560 x 1440 pixels. But its hardware matches with the S7 Edge with its 4GB RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.

The V20 has a 5-megapixel front camera and 16 megapixel back camera. The internal space varies from 32 to 64 GB but a microSD card of 256 GB is allowed.

The Motorola Moto Z

The OnePlus 3

All the aforementioned smartphones fetch a price higher than $500 in the tech market but this one wins at both sides with its highly affordable price range as well as top notch specifications and features.

The screen measures to 5.5 inches and has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It runs on the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor of the 3 previous handsets but has a way larger RAM of 6 GB.

The rear camera is 16 MP whereas its neighbor measures to 8 MP. This smartphone procures an alarmingly low rate in the market at $399 that marks it as the cheapest top notch 2016 Android smartphones.
