Baron Mordo to appear in Avengers: Infinity War?

Last October 20, 2016, the newest member of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) was unleashed. Doctor Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, places fans on the seats of excitement and thrill as he waves through magic, time and "multiverse".

As the MCU always prepares to move forward to the next big movies, the introduction of Doctor Strange has made an impact to linking the Avengers Movies to the Infinity war. Moreover, with the story behind the Strange movie, Baron Mordo, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, also had an important role in the transformation of Stephen Strange to a superhero of all time.

Baron Mordo is an accomplished user of magic who was trained by the Ancient One. He has almost the training as Doctor Strange have but only, he uses his magical ability for his personal gain. He is also Strange's mortal foe.

During their training sequence, Mordo uses his staff that breaks apart and turns into a whip like a weapon that channels the sorcerer's energy through. He called it the Staff of the Living Tribunal or the Staff of Polar Power which is also used by Doctor Strange and the Living Tribunal himself to harness, channel and focus cosmic energy.

While Strange is making his way to save the world, Mordo, fearing that the balance of magic in the multiverse was altered by Doctor Strange in using the Time Stone. So he also set off his personal mission to re-address it and bring back the order of magic in the realm.

In the Avengers: Infinity War movie, Thanos messes with time and space and the whole realm of the multiverse. With his Infinity Gauntlet that possesses six infinity gems of time, space, mind, soul, reality and power, he uses reality-altering cosmic tubes to create a new alternate dimension as a part of the multiverse to summon villainous doppelgangers of all the heroes of the Marvel Universe.

While both Mordo and Strange guards the balance of the multiverse, it is sufficient enough to speculate that Baron Mordo will be in the upcoming Infinity War. The only question is if Mordo will be a villain or a hero or is he will be the Living Tribunal that safeguards the entire multiverse from imbalance and mystical forces?
