Scientists introduced a new study that they accidentally discover how to transform carbon dioxide into ethanol. High concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide gives a negative impact to human's health. What a wonderful world to live with, when carbon dioxide can now be converted to ethanol.

In 4 million years, we reached the stiffest peak levels of atmospheric CO2 just last month. The safe level cannot be reverted back because it was already permanent, according to Sciencealert.

However, a hopeful change for a better world is here. We can transform CO2 to be functional. Researchers discover a method on how to attain it with just one catalyst.

"We discovered somewhat by accident that this material worked," said one of the team members Adam Rondinone of the US Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory.

"We were trying to study the first step of a proposed reaction when we realised that the catalyst was doing the entire reaction on its own," he said.

The researchers' discovery was a piece of an intensive study. To convert CO2 into ethanol needs a procedure with numerous steps. It involves complex chemical reaction.

Nevertheless, they eventually came out with a simpler process they never expect. The CO2 conversion process just uses a single accelerator which is the copper.

According to the team, the catalyst comprises cheap materials. This can function at room temperature accompanied by moderate electrical needs. It can be lifted up for highly-developed level use.

The finding is really glorious, while we know that CO2 is not pleasant for the health. Additionally, it is one factor that affects climate change, but now it can be turned into fuel.

Actually, fuel creates more CO2, which in good return, it could be transformed into more fuel. With lots of CO2 conversion jobs at the moment, we should always stay safe. Let's wait for further announcement until they can present a genuine outcome in the process.
