Justin Bieber disabled (deactivated) his Instagram account back in August after the infamous drama triangle between him, Sofia Riche and popular ex-girlfriend; Selena Gomez hit the headlines. Different news sources state different reasons to why the popstar decided to quit his most famous social media account.

But, there is evident proof to why Bieber actually took the drastic step. Before deleting his account the hit singer stated "I'm gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don't stop the hate. This is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn't be so mean to people that I like."

And as always he changed his insight on the matter and said that was not the only problem but also because he was being unusually addicted to the app. Furthermore Justin said that it was "stressful" and "people are treating him like a zoo animal."

As his Instagram account hit over 77 million followers, he was exposed to a wider audience who mainly wanted a snap or two with him without throwing a "hi" or "hello" his way. Billboard reveals why exactly Justin deactivated his account.

And recently the Biebs has made it crystal clear that he will not (never) be returning back to Instagram. Lately while performing at a concert he took out time to speak out about this matter that has been worrying his fans since forever:

"I don't want to get my Instagram back. Instagram is for the devil. I think hell is Instagram. I'm like, 90 percent sure. We get sent to hell, we get locked in the Instagram server. Like I'm stuck in the DMs."

The fan shot video might seem grainy and blurry but his words were pretty clear. Seems like the singer is far away from reactivating his Instagram account but in the meantime, his dad Jeremy Bieber is keeping the Beliebers updated with adorable throwback pics and other cute images.
