There is no fixed time or release date of upcoming next-generation Nintendo console ‘Nintendo Switch’ but EB Games Australia has already started selling accessories of the console.

One of the accessories was Nintendo Switch Extra-Long 3m USB C superfast charging cable under the @play brand. Though it is taken down by the website but the description was “USB-A to USB-C charging cable compatible with the Nintendo Switch Console.” According to Gadgets 360°.

Nintendo has not announced official specifications of the Console but there are many rumors regarding this next-generation console. This listing confirms that one of them is USB C port for super fast charging which is first on any console.

Currently, tech companies like Apple and Google have embraced this technology in their devices MacBook and Pixel. Nintendo Switch will be the first ever Console to use USB C charging.

Nintendo relies on proprietary cables for its Consoles. These cables are also standard in the gaming industry. It will be an advantage for users if this device is compatible with USB C as a user can charge their device anywhere they find USB cable.

As written in International Business Times, according to developer kit the Console will have features like 6.2-inch 1280 × 720 IPS LCD display, four ARM Cortex-A57 cores which are maxed out to 2GHz and Nvidia second-generation Maxwell architecture. According to Nvidia, the Nintendo Switch’s Tegra solution has a "high-efficiency scalable processor includes a Nvidia GPU based on the same architecture as the world’s top-performing GeForce gaming graphics cards."

There is no confirmation about the specifications declared by developer kit but it will be interesting to see how close they are to the official ones. It seems that Nintendo Switch would be priced from $249 onwards. Gameseek, a UK-based retailer listed the Console for £ 198.50.
