UFC Champion McGregor Will Join 'Game Of Thrones' Cast: Real Or Just A Rumor?

The UFC Champion Conor McGregor is reportedly joining the cast of HBO's hit series 'Games of Thrones' in one of the final two seasons.

Filming of 'Game of Thrones' also takes place in Dublin which is the hometown of The UFC star Conor McGregor, so there is a possibility that he will make a cameo. However, it is not known when exactly he would make an appearance.

It is reported by Express that one of the officials said it is been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones.

One of the 'Game of Thrones' directors is a huge fan of UFC. UFC Champ was headhunted as it were by HBO and they believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show. It is said that fighter might be making his way to Westeros.

UFC Champ will battle against 'The Mountain' which is played by Hafpor Julius Bjornsson. It is written in the Irish Central that "McGregor has been pictured sparring with Hafpor Julius Bjornsson, who plays 'The Mountain' on the show, at his Straight Blast Gym in Dublin in the past."

It is tough to guess what kind of character UFC Champ will play if he appears on 'Game of Thrones'. However, according to his fighting background, he is most likely to play somebody who gets violent pretty easily.

Conor McGregor is an Irish Professional MMA fighter, but he is also a UFC Lightweight and UFC Featherweight Champion who is 5'9" tall and weighs 155 pounds.

'Game of Thrones' an American fantasy drama series was started on 2010. It is an adaptation of George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels. There are 6 seasons of 'Game of Thrones' already completed and filming of the 7th season is going on.
