The first half of "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is coming to an end, and Negan's stay in Alexandria will lead to more complications.

The official synopsis for the mid-season finale episode 8, which is titled "Hearts Still Beating" reads "Negan's unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues as other members scavenge for supplies; things quickly spin out of control."

In the previous episode titled "Sing Me a Song" Negan was seen giving Carl a tour of the sanctuary and in return of this he was seen asking Carl to take him around Alexandria. At the end of the episode, Negan told Carl that he might just kill him as well as Rick to claim Alexandria as his own territory. Negan was seen waiting on the porch with Carl and Judith while waiting for Rick.

Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan who plays Negan, opened up with Entertainment Weekly about what episode 8 will be like and that's what he had to say, "It's creepy, man. It's creepy. We'll see where that goes. Mid-season finale, you know it's going to be big." When asked what the viewers should be expecting from the mid-season finale, he said, "I'm there waiting for Rick. We are going to wait for Rick, and I would imagine that Rick is probably not going to be super thrilled to see me there with his family."

Going by the spoiler, it looks like it will follow in the footsteps of last year's same episode which had Carl taking a bullet to his eye. Several moments like Rosita (Christian Serratos) staring at the bullet and Daryl escaping his cell build to an intense climax.

The climax of the spoiler shows Rick looking particularly traumatized by Negan. Does the blood splattered on Negan's face suggest death of another main character? WATCH 'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Episode 8 'Hearts Still Beating' Spoiler!
