The prequel of "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" was undoubtedly a massive hit in theaters worldwide. Now, people shall get to hear another volume of the very interesting Star - Lord's favorite musical mash-up from the worn out cassette.

According to DigitalSpy, the director of the movie James Gunn has revealed through Facebook that the song was already decided by him and it was exclusively selected by him for the sequel. He added that he did not get input from any other crew member about this song.

All the heart winning characters such as Chris Patt as Peter Quill/ Start Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket Racoon are back to give another high five experience. In this, the new element is contributed by the octopus resembling space monster who will be the antagonist for the sequel.

Gunn has assured that a new character named Mantis will be played by Pom Klementieff, who is a psychic woman who is born to be the savior of a race of alien trees. Mantis debuted in 1973 as a sidekick to an Avenger called Swordsman. She essayed the role of an untrustworthy figure but later Englehart made her role grander, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Mantis has many superpowers like sensing emotions with touch, telepathy, astral projection, precognition and self-healing power.

Kurt Russell will be a part of this sequel playing the role of Quill's dad and also the living planet name EGO, which has a face, beard, and ambition to conquest. A surprise box will open up when Sylvester Stallone will be appearing in interaction with Yondu in the Comic-Con footage.

With an amazing overdose of talent and overwhelming drama, Aldrif Odinsdottir will be playing Phylla Vell who will add a bonus to the movie. Each and every potent element is very confident and convinced about their roles. However, the movie is more about the paternal background of the leads.
