Marvel just released a teaser trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol.v2vafter keeping the movie buffs waiting. A 90-second film snippet showcased back in October spiked interest in the fans for the official trailer.

The second sequel is directed by James Gunn, who incidentally directed the first sequel Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. The original movie is an unexpected hit, grossing a whopping $773 million worldwide.

The official trailer launched officially on December 3, 2016, on YouTube has become a crowd puller. It has amassed a record 81 million views within 24 hours after teaser release. This is by far the highest hits for any Marvel pictures teaser.

Commenting on the success of hits of the official trailer, movie director James Gunn has said this on his Facebook page. "With 81 million views in its first 24 hours, the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Teaser Trailer is the SECOND BIGGEST TEASER TRAILER EVER (after Beauty and the Beast), and the biggest Marvel Studios Teaser ever!". Exalted by the success, Gunn thanked all those who have watched and shared it, as well as those who welcomed Baby Groot and Mantis.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 will see the same old hero characters Mantis, Nebula, and Yondu making an adventurous journey across galaxies. This includes earlier cast Chris Patt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana playing Gamora; Dave Bautista donned as Drax, Karen Gillan played as the hero Nebula, Michael Rooker as Yondu, while Vin Diesel gives voice over for Groot and Bradley Cooper gives voice over for Rocket. However, there is a surprise new cast also on the movie celluloid - Sylvester Stallone, Kurt Russell, and Elizabeth Debicki.

Further, James Gunn is happy to announce that the song "Fox on the Run," themed with the trailer is #1 on iTunes rock chart.
