'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' will release tomorrow on December 14, 2016. Here are some facts to know about before watching the 'Rouge One'.

Star Wars franchise is four decades old and they know that there will be a barrier for the new audience in their new episodes. First Star Wars movie came out on 1977 and last was on 2015 which was episode VII, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

In 'The Force Awakens', a new threat arises thirty years after the defeat of the Galactic Empire. The First Order attempts to rule the galaxy and along with the help of the Resistance, only a ragtag group of heroes can stop them.

Episode VIII is now in production. So, everyone must be having a question in their mind that which episode make 'Rogue One'. Actually, Buster says Rogue One is a first standalone film in the Star Wars Universe. This does not indicate that it is not connected by plot and character too.

The actors shown in the trailer like Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Mads Mikkelsen, Ben Mendelsohn, and Forest Whitaker are not new. 'Rouge One' is reaching back further than previous episodes.

Brits Daisy Ridley and John Boyega was in the lead roles in 'The Force Awakens'. Felicity Jones, who plays Jyn Erso, stars opposite another Brit Riz Ahmed, who grew up in Wembley, North West London. Darth Vader is making a comeback.

As stated in Mirror, 'Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens' took more than £1.6 billion. Pre-sale tickets have already sold out and an expert says that 'Rouge One: A Star Wars Story', the first Star Wars spin-off is on track to gross more than £1.1 billion worldwide.

Some people thinks that Rouge One is a sequel to The Force Awakens but it is not true. Instead, it is a prequel to the very first star wars movie, Star Wars: A New Hope.
