Apple MacBook Pro 2016 was launched on October 27, 2016, by Apple CEO Tim Cook at Cupertino Campus. The costlier laptop from Apple is yet one more time bogged down with technical glitches. This time it is different.

Now, MacBook Pro 2016 is having display issues unknown to many and no one knows how to fix it. Last week many users reported the problem, screaming and yelling what to do. As usual, Apple is unresponsive to the issue.

The problem is surfacing during the booting process when the display is going checkered or flickering at times, as reported in Mac Rumors. In some occasions, the laptop is completely unresponsive. Users need to hard reboot the system to overcome the issue.

The purported video is doing rounds on YouTube much to the embarrassment of the Apple, challenging the reliability of its high-priced products. Apple has unofficially blamed the problem on the firmware and not on the OS or any hardware. Firmware is programmed and installed in the ROM during manufacture of the laptop. Apple community is attributing the problem to File Vault 2 startup disk encryption, when disabled, the problem appears to be fading away.

However, Apple has released a new software patch MacOS Sierra 10.12.2 on December 5, 2016. Apple has unofficially confirmed that the software released will clear all glitches, including the recent display malfunction.

This graphic issue is common to all models including 13-inch and 15-inch configured with AMD Radeon Pro 450 and AMD Radeon Pro 455 graphics respectively. But, the problem recurrence is high with the high-end 15-inch laptop with AMD Radeon 460 Pro graphics.

Interestingly, this fifth beta version of MacOS Sierra 10.12.2 introduces new Emojis, Unique 9 characters, and new wallpapers. Though MacOS Sierra 10.12.2 is not the final version, Apple is hopeful of fixing all bugs with this version if not further problems are reported. MacBook pro 2016 failed to impress the customers as if offers not many new features. Apple is desparately seeking to kill the issue before it cuts the sales.
