The Hollywood actress has the custody of their six children, Pax, Zahara, Maddox, Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne. Angelina Jolie had earlier filed for divorce from her husband Brad Pitt on Sept. 19. The event had taken place after a spat on the flight from France to the U.S.

Earlier, it was reported that there was some altercation with their eldest adopted son, Maddox, whom Angelina Jolie adopted before meeting Brad Pitt. Due to the seriousness of the matter, both DCFS and FBI had to intervene for investigation; however, both the investigations have come to an end.

According to a statement, Angelina Jolie felt that she had to take a step in the family's well being. The statement further added that she is happy with the DCFS involvement and that she is satisfied with their eight week investigations. The statement read that she is relieved that her children's interest are safeguarded and now they will get time to overcome this situation.

Shortly after her divorce, a source told one of the leading magazines that Angelina Jolie did what she had to in order to safeguard her children. The source even added that younger children didn't understand what was going on in the family. An earlier report also suggested that Brad Pitt was planning to file for a joint custody of their kids.
