With great power comes greater responsibility and with big failure comes bigger revamp. After the unexpected debacle of Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is hoping to change its fortune with Note 8.

The South Korean tech giant remains tight lipped about the design and development but as per Ecumenical News the rumour mill is abuzz with the possibility of a dual-screen. Effectively it means a phone with two separate displays on its front and rear. For long the phone-universe has followed identical designs with minor changes but Note 8 is believed to introduce a revolutionary design change.

Samsung has been playing with curved displays for couple of years. The curved edge of previous Note Edge was called a gimmick by competition but it was more than just the extension of front display. It had contextual feedback and it showed its own notifications irrespective of the Main front screen.

The design had a purpose and it was a step in the right direction. The rumoured dual-display of Note8 will undoubtedly enhance the user experience with the two separate displays. It will take time adjusting to the unique workflow but one thing is sure; the real estate of mobile screens will not be the same after this.

Japan display Inc. is supposed to provide these displays to Samsung. Tech Times reaffirms that this handset might be foldable as well. Samsung has been quietly working on this flexible design form for past many years. In 2013 Samsung made the concept public. However 2017 is expected to see Out-foldable Note8 which is believed to be the next level of the in-foldable design mentioned by the company 4 years ago.

This revolutionary design may also feature in Samsung's other flagship Galaxy S8. These line-ups have always been ahead of the market curve with trend setting features and top-notch specifications. Their next iteration promises to take things to the next level. Without doubt Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and S8 are the two most anticipated smartphones of 2017.
