As the end nears, Julie Plec, along with her team of Vampires and Werewolves from The Vampire Diaries family have gathered to offer the fans a final treat. The brand new episode or episode 8 of the season 8 of the series will return on January with twist and turns, less anticipated, making a full circle from the very first episode.

The ripper Stefan is back, for he has flipped off that humanity switch. Cade has ruined his lovely Christmas dinner with Caroline and has driven him off the humanity edge making him serve the devil. The mid-season finale titled The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You made the fans witness Stefan and Damon leaving Mystic Falls as Stefan turn off the switch to protect Alaric and Caroline's twins. With that, the promo for the new episode of  The Vampire Diaries shows him make comments in which he claims that he is working for and with the devil. That is going to be one amazing plot twist, revealed GamenGuide.

Not only that, the new promo gives a snippet of what Damon is up to in the following episodes. He is seen attending some help-group, where he sucks the blood out of every individual, for he has 'anger issues'. Caroline on the other hand, is probably taking things on her hand and orders people to just stop for a moment. And as for the siren, she will be around, that is for sure, as per the promo.

The Steroline fans might have a rough road to travel in the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries, entitled We have History Together. Stefan will have to come clean to Caroline, while Caroline has a series of misunderstandings which might ruin too many things for her. That being said, it is quite evident that the writers are bent up offering the fandom an absolutely amazing ride this season.

The Vampire Diaries will come to an end with this season and thus, these final episodes will mark the fate of the series. So get ready to witness an epic finale this January!
