‘Supergirl’ Season 2 Episode 9: A romantic start expected in the new series

Supergirl has now officially joined the CW superhero family. On the final episode aired on last November 28, 2016, the four-show crossover event was kick-started by Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist). The new Supergirl will feature in the next season as well. We find out more about her role below.

In the last episode Medusa, CAMDUS has unleashed a virus that hunts and kills aliens in the surroundings. Heroically, Supergirl Kara was able to stop the spread of the virus which could have been lethal in turning the whole city into a mass grave. She feigned to side with her adoptive step- mother and nullified the virus and subsequently handed over her mother to police.

Game N Guide confirmed that Supergirl Season 2 Episode 9 would be aired in January 2017, much to the fans excitement about what happens next. The forthcoming episode will have a romance between Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Kara.

On the last episode of 2016, the Supergirl screenwriter, Andrew Kreisberg said that "This is our holiday episode, it is our midseason finale, and nothing ends this section of the show better and sends us into our next batch of episodes than having a kiss."

A new leaked video posted by Melissa reveals that Kara is happy that Mon-El took her advice to shift to a decent job. It further reveals that Mon-El took a job as a bartender and surprises Kara during her visit to the bar in Season 2 Episode 9. Another kiss opened the doors for another romance between Maggie (Floriana Lima) and Alex (Chyler Leigh).

Entertainment Weekly reported that Mr. Mxyzptlk might figure in the new series to assist the new challenge faced by the Department of External Operations (DEO). Was earlier rumored that Mr. Mxyzptlk will be introduced in the second run of the series, but was delayed.Nevertheless, fans believe that it is just a perfect time the new villain to make an entrance.
