Bates Motel, who doesn't know this psychological thriller series produced by A&E? The series is going to the fifth and final season. Carlton Cuse, the executive producer, in the interview with IGN at San Diego Comic-Con last July stated that the production will be started in September. Following that announcement, some spoilers popped up and drove the fan in curiosity about what will be going on in this season.

In the same event, Comic-Con, Rihanna was also announced as a role of Marion Crane. She has begun her filming on September 16th, 2016 and will be done on January 25th, 2017. There are other new characters as well. One of them is Madeleine Loomis will be played by Isabelle McNally.

From the end of the fourth season, we all know that Norman (Freddie Highmore) carried Norma's (Vera Farmiga) body out of the grave after her funeral. Through this scene, we can speculate that Norma is still in the frame. It is also strengthened by Cuse's answer in another interview with TV Line, he said: "Vera's still very much a part of the show, she just has a slightly modified role.". "She's existing now in Norman's brain," he added. So what will Norma do to Norman?

The TV line also buzzed about Norman's brother, Dylan (Max Thieriot) and Emma (Olivia Cooke), an ending of their unexpected love story. Cuse replied "You're on the right track... What we can tell you is that we'll be spending some time with Dylan and Emma as they forge a new life. But, obviously and inevitably, he will cross back into Norman's orbit."

A release date of the last season has not announced yet by The Arts & Entertainment Network. Rumors spread, the premiere will be launched by March to May 2017.
