The low key Hollywood couple, actress Katie Holmes and actor James Foxx went to Cabo, Mexico to celebrate Holmes' birthday. According to the latest news, Holmes, who celebrated her birthday on December 16, travelled with her latest love interest to the island for a private getaway.
A source reported to a popular newspaper that the couple flew to Cabo on Friday morning in a private jet Van Nuys airport, Los Angeles. It was supposed to be a short trip in order to celebrate the actress's birthday. The source further added that it was just the two of them along with two pilots.
The hush-hush couple, who had been dating since 2013 and kept it a quiet affair, took off in a limousine to luxe Las Ventanas al Paraíso, Resort. Katie and Jamie also checked into one of the private suites of the Resort, completely separated from the other guests and entered through a small passage.
It really seemed that the couple wanted to avoid all the limelight and glaring eyes of the public and the media. Even they wanted everything to be discreet and ordered stuff into their room. A personal butler was always there at their service throughout their stay at the resort.
The couple, Foxx, 49 and Holmes, 38, left Cabo San Lucas on Saturday night and flew back to Los Angeles. According to a close source, Holmes' daughter, Suri was not with the couple in this short trip.
In an earlier news published on a famous news daily, it was revealed that the couple had been dating since October, 2013 and in March 2015, the daily published a photo of the couple. Even though the couple has been together for over 3 years now, they have managed well to keep it a secret and low key affair. Holmes was earlier married to most popular Hollywood actor, Tom Cruise and has a daughter Suri from the marriage.
In a statement of one of the Real Housewives star, Claudia Jordan, who is a friend of Foxx said that Foxx was quite happy her and that she is happy to see him that way.
