The highly anticipated event threw many surprises and saw the crown changing head more than once. 'Roadblock: End of the line' was the last Pay-per-view event of 2016 hosted by RAW and it didn't disappoint. With the major turn of events it also sets 2017 as an exciting year ahead.

Mirror termed the results mixed bag but concluded that the highs were very high. The tag team of Sheamus and Cesaro ended the record-breaking run of their arch-rivals The New Day and clinched the tag team championship. The unexpected result soared the evening's expectations and the next few matches didn't let it down.

In an exciting match limited by time, Sami Zayn defeated Braun Strowman by surviving the 10 minute limit. Mick Foley's presence ensured many speculations. Strowman dominated Sami majorly but unfortunately couldn't keep him down till the end.

In an evenly balanced match Christ Jericho lost to Seth Rollins. Despite Jericho's early control over the match and Kevin Owens interference Rollins managed to beat Jericho with the pedigree.

The event was marked with the surprise return of Neville sporting a full beard. He appeared to be celebrating Swann's victory over Perkins but shocked fans by attacking both men. With his comeback Neville made quite a statement. His heel turn is both unexpected and refreshing.

The 30-minute time bound Iron Man Match for the Women's championship was the Main high of the evening. Sasha and Charlotte put up a super-show with their grit and determination. Both of them gave it their all but in the end Charlotte won 2:1 over Sasha and the championship changed hands.

The main event was another well fought title but not fully satisfying because of the disqualification. With the Universal Championship on the line both Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns brought their A-game. Jericho's intervention and intentionally hitting Owens ensured the match was disqualified and in-spite of Reigns winning via disqualification, Owens retained the title.

CBS Sports reported that the feud continued post match as Rollins joined Reigns and they powerbombed both Jericho and Owens before the show went off air.

WWE Roadblock is the last of this years big ticket wrestling events and it ends with the promise of many more exciting feuds and rivalries to come.
