The release of this year's newest entry in the Star Wars saga gets the better of its countless fanboys across the world. "Rogue One : A Star Wars Story" is the long awaited project by Disney Pictures when they took over Lucasfilms. Announced not long with the new Star Wars trilogy started with episode VII The Force Awakens, which released back in 2015. The movie itself is set between "Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of The Sith(2005)" and "Star Wars Episode IV : A New Hope(1977)". Here is how the two movies separated 39 years with each other connects themselves.

Spoiler alert : This is a spoiler zone though, for those of you who haven't watch the movie, and hates spoilers, we suggest you stop reading.

According to IGN, "Rogue One" isn't just about how the rebels spies gets the plans for the enormous Death Star build by the Galactic Empire. The story of how Tantine IV, the ship that carries Princess Leia along with C3PO and R2D2 got caught by Darth Vader's Imperial Star Destroyer could be seen in the final scenes of the movie. The origin of the infamous line from Princess Leia 'help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.' Is also told in quite specific manner. It is well known by Star Wars fans that Leia's adoptive father, Bail Organa was a good friend of Obi-Wan Kenobi. And in this particular movie, there is a scene of how the name of Obi-Wan came to the mind of the Rebel Alliance when they're in desperate need of help.

Although it's connected directly to the "New Hope" we won't see any scenes featuring the beloved protagonist from the movie, Luke Skywalker. But we could see how there's a pilotless X-Wing Fighter that Luke uses in the "New Hope". Here's how comicbook.com sees it. There is a scene where a X-Wing pilot codenamed 'Red Five' fall during a battle with the empire. Even though the pilot suffers a fatal fate, the X-Wing doesn't. That vacant X-Wing Fighter becomes Luke's in the Battle Of Yavin and given the codename Red Five. And the rest as they say, is history.

"Rogue One" is a stand alone film that mainly serves as the filler between Episodes III and IV. But the movie quickly becoming one of the highly anticipated and loved by the fans ever since the trailer hits the internet at late 2015. There is some interesting opinions and perspectives spread across the internet about how this movie is the fan service the Star Wars fandom truly deserve. movietvtechgeeks states that what makes this movie different from the other Star Wars entry, not all of the protagonists survived and this is the first "Star Wars" movie that doesn't put The Force and the Jedis at the center stage.
