One of the best things about Minecraft is its availability across several platforms. Thankfully, the Minecaft fans or addicts don't need to wait any longer to enjoy it on their Apple TV. Yes, the wait is over for Minecraft fanatics as they can enjoy the game on Apple TV.

The arrival of Mincecraft for Apple TV was first annouced at the McBook Pro event, held in October. Tim Cook announced the arrival, however, didn't give a clear picture about how it would be played on the TV.  It was quite clear that the game would be an interesting one to play on Apple TV even though it misses on the multiplayer feature.

Gamers earlier enjoyed playing Minecraft on their devices and this time the list of compatible devices just got a big longer. Interestingly, users will be able to enjoy the Minecraft experiences unlike other devices, but again, they need to be satisfied with a few things missing. One can only hope, the availability of the game just makes up for it.

One of these missing features include the Xbox Live Support and Minecraft Realms. But there's absolutely nothing to worry as these two features would be added in the near future.

With such an affordable price tag and host of features, the Minecraft for Apple TV is definitely a catch. Users not only get the game, but also get seven DLC packs. These are namely City Folk skin Pack, Town Folk Pack, Holiday 2015, Natural, Cartoon, Festive 2016 and Plastic mash-up Packs.

Before users get all happy about this news, they need to know that these packs are all limited ones and available for a stipulated time. So, one can assume they need to hurry up and buckle their shoes.

Even the Ender Update that comes along with the app for Apple TV includes some tweaks as well. Some of these include the end gateway, exist portal, dragon head, world templates and the list goes on.
