Google just entered the smartphone market in 2016 by launching Pixel and Pixel XL while Xiaomi is known for their mid-ranged android smartphones. Currently, Xiaomi launched Redmi Pro and its high edition has same specifications as Pixel XL.

Pixel XL and Xiaomi Redmi Pro High Edition both have a 5.5-inch display where Pixel XL has QHD AMOLED at 534 ppi with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 while Redmi Pro High Edition has OLED capacitive touchscreen at 401 ppi.

As written in Android Headlines, both devices are a solid build and professional looking in every way. Xiaomi Redmi Pro High Edition is slightly smaller in dimension and 6 gram heavier than Pixel XL might be because of a battery.

Battery capacity of Pixel XL is 3450 mAh while it is 4050 mAh in Redmi Pro High Edition. Both support USB Type-C for faster charging and data transfer. Pixel XL offers 4GB DDR4 RAM while Redmi offers 3GB RAM.

There are two variants in Pixel XL, one supports 32GB internal storage while other supports 128GB. The story is different with Redmi Pro as it offers 64GB memory and up to 128GB external memory via microSD card.

Google Pixel XL supports sensors like Proximity, Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Pixel Imprint for fast unlocking, Barometer, Hall effect sensor and Android Sensor Hub. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat while Redmi runs on MIUI 8.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Google Pixel XL is for $649 for 32GB variant and $749 for 128GB variant while Xiaomi Redmi Pro High Edition costs $199. Features of both the smartphones are almost similar but in terms of quality, it is obvious that Google is quite ahead. So, we can say that Redmi Pro High Edition is a cheaper version of Pixel XL.
