Robots To Step Into The Love Making; Expected to Replace Sex With Partner(Study)

Love making won't be the same anymore. With the robots taking on the world, sex with a partner might soon be reserved for those special occasions. As experts put in robots might step into the bedroom soon to give everyday pleasure.

According to a robotics conference,the use of Artificial Intelligence(AI) might just be a socially normal and acceptable thing within the coming 25 years.

In the words of Dr. Trudy Barber, a pioneer in studying the impact of technology on sexual intercourse, comparing ebooks to sex robots, mentioned that these machines would allow people to enjoy "the real thing" better than what they are enjoying at present.

Even though the devices such as Roxxxy True Companion and Rocky are available for a high cost, increasing advancement in the field is expected to make these sex robots available within fingertips. In fact, these sex robots might soon roll out in the market at a very affordable cost.

Dr. Barber, while speaking at the International Congress of Love and Sex with Robotics, said that people's growing interest in technology was just an indication that its only a matter of time now to see it stepping into the world of sex.

She said, "It could be that we are so busy with our lives, we are so embedded in our technological narrative that the idea of engaging in long-distance sex and robot sex is actually a natural process in our evolutionary cycle." Dr. Barber further added, "I think what will happen is that they will make real-time relationships more valuable and exciting."

But as they say every good thing also has a drawback, the same applies for sex robots. The AI fears that a generation of adolescents growing up with the concept of sex robots might develop an unrealistic concept about sex.

Computing expert, Kate Devlin mentioned that it might be possible that sex robots might be trained to learn their human partner's sexual preference in order to improve their performance.

But there's a big drawback to this idea of love making since it would be a one-way relationship with the object that won't be able to return the love received except by pretence.
