Arnold Schwarzenegger: Seven Times Mr. Olympia Winner Says He Throws Up When He Looks Himself In The Mirror

When anyone thinks of a body building, the one name that comes up first is Arnold Schwarzenegger. But not many people know that he struggles with self-image.

He gave a shocking statement which no one can expect with someone who won seven-time bodybuilding title Mr. Olympia. He admits that when he looks in the mirror, he throw up.

He also reveals that he was critical of himself even when he was in top physical shape. As written in Cigar Aficionado's February issue according to Page Six.

He added that "I'd look in the mirror after I won one Mr. Olympia after another and think, 'How did this pile of sh*t win?' I never saw perfection. There was always something lack­ing." He said that he don't feel his age and does everything exactly same as he used to do 20 years back.

"The Expendables" star will turn 70 on July 30 next year. He still works out every day. Arnold thinks that he always finds something lacking.

Arnold could always find a million things wrong with himself to get back to a gym. He said that he started out with this mentality and he cannot start his day without any physical activity.

Written in Yahoo that, he work out at night before bed - cardio and weight training. He wants to be in shape as long as he can and he uses his self-esteem issue to encourage himself for a workout.

Arnold Schwarzenegger admits that he also lacks confidence. But, he does the reps and does them enough that it becomes doable when it's time. He gives advice on how to build confidence.

Arnold says that when he was competing in bodybuilding, he used to do many hours of reps - on the weights and practice the poses so when he got onstage, he was very comfortable and confident.

Arnold advises to do more reps to look smooth and convincing. And one can get better at it via doing it more and more.
