Donald Trump appointed New Members in NASA Transition Team

Donald Trump will take oath as the next president of the United States on January 20. A team of personnel dubbed as Trump Transition Team will take powers on January 20 under Donald Trump and at the behest of Peter Thiel, the investor who invested money in Donald Trump's campaign.

The new Members of the NASA Transition The team will concentrate on Commercial Space Issues, as quoted by Space.com. The existing personnel will disband on the very day the new team comes in power.

Parabolic Arc described the New Members of the NASA Transition Team. Currently, Donald Trump has appointed six members. As per the reports, the six members are Steve Cook, Sandra Magnus, Greg Autry, Jeff Waksman, Rodney Liesveld, and Jack Burns.

Sandra Magnus is a retired astronaut who spent 157 days in space. She was onboard ISS for 134 days and has worked as a mission specialist on the final flight of space shuttle STS-135. Steve Cook worked as the president for NASA's Ares Program between July 2005 to August 2009. He was involved in Stratolaunch Systems' Aircraft, Aerojet Rocketdyne's development, etc.

Other members are Greg Autry who is working as Assistant Professor of Clinical Entrepreneurship at University of California Marshall School of Business, Jeff Waksman is a former search fellow, Rodney Liesveld is a former Senior Advisor for Strategy and Policy Formulation, and Jack Burns who is a Professor at University of Colorado, Boulder.

After the new team comes into play, What will be the fate of NASA future expeditions?. Although Donald Trump didn't post any official announcement, sources suggest that veterans and other members of the team supposedly have an interest in lunar expeditions which loosely means that the future NASA Mars mission might be diverted to Moon.
