Eleven New Enhancements Make It To Fitbit Charge 2 After The Recent Update

Fitbit Charge 2 has received a massive update bringing 11 new features and enhancements to the health tracking device. The update has made the device a lot more useful and addressed some issues which were present in the device.

Workout Pause function, Guided Breathing Vibration Cues, a Do Not Disturb option, Battery Life on the display, a new Clock face and a more Dynamic Heart Rate Zone Display are some of the features that Fitbit has incorporated into Charge 2 in this new update. More features and enhancement include - "stocking stuffers", smarter notifications, showing "Unknown" caller ID's and longer - lasting workout recaps as reported by PhoneArena.

One of the best additions to this feature list is the ability to pause and resume workouts. As the name goes, you can easily put your workout on hold and take a break using the Pause function and resume when you are ready using the Resume function.

Another useful feature is the heart rate visualizations which shows you heart rate zone during a multi-sport workout mode as reported by DigitalTrends. Now your Fitbit Charge 2 will buzz lightly to remind you when you need to inhale and exhale so that you can enjoys the session.

The other small additions enhance the already present features and functions on the device. The new on-display battery indicator will now tell when you need to charge the Fitbit Charge 2 straight from the device's screen. The update clock style will now show the time in hours, seconds and minutes- all at a single time.

The notifications will also appear in a different style after the update. A "+" sign will now indicate when you have more than one queued notification and the text notifications will now show the message before the sender's name first.
