Apple MacBook Pro: The First MacBook not recommended by Consumer Reports citing Battery Issues

Apple's newest MacBook Pro is the first MacBook not recommended by Consumer Reports
Apple might have impressive products but there are some exceptions as always. Consumer Reports published a report after testing the latest Apple MacBook Pro and believe it or not, the latest MacBook Pro is not recommended by Consumer Reports. 

Citing battery issues, the MacBook Pro laptops received no recommendation rating from Consumer Reports and thus became the first product to not receive the ratings. Consumer Reports underwent tastings of three MacBook Pro Models which includes 13" and 15" with Touch Bar and 13" without Touch Bar.

The reports state that all the models have inconsistent battery life. The statistics of the battery life of three models are given in the reports. 16 hours at first go, 12.75 hours at second, and 3.75 hours at the third run for 13" with Touch Bar model. Similarly, the one without Touch Bar ran 19.5 hours on the first trial but declined 4.5 hours in the second trial. The 15" model without Touch Bar was tested with 18.5 hours on the first trial to 8 hours in other.

The Problem with Battery life at MacBook Pro has become colossal. Apple promised a 10 hours battery life between charges, however, the battery life has declined exponentially. All the three MacBook Pro laptops failed to meet Consumer Reports standards. A test was conducted on the Laptops where they were used to surf web pages on Safari and then on Chrome and found that the battery life ran out too soon and inconsistently.

When Business Insider compiled a report citing the three models, it was found that the latest Mac OS update resulted in the removal of battery life indicator which made the battery life calculations less accurate. 

Consumer Reports is one of the largest publication that tests and provided data on the gadget. The website has conducted trials on iPad and Apple Watch which received much acclaim, however, iPhone 6 "Bendgate" issue is overrated, as stated in the reports.
