"Osiris: New Dawn" has been in Early Access development since September, but recently, a new "Dawn of Aziel" update has been released. Reverb Games has released a new trailer for their multiplatform sci-fi survival game "Osiris: New Dawn."

It is considered to be the survival game's first major content update, it features a new moon to explore, The trailer highlights the "Dawn of Aziel" expansion, which adds new lethal weapons, Mecha Crab mounts and a skill tree system, and most of all the titular frozen world of Aziel, according to Dualshockers.

The new moon known as Aziel is mostly a frozen tundra, and when compared to Proteus II, another moon in the game, Aziel is three times larger in size.

According to Tomshardware, the new celestial body is also home for new resources, but more importantly, other alien creatures that could pose a threat to the player and his home base. However, there are new weapons that can be used for protection against aliens including the Heavy Assault Rifle.

A player can also create landmines to trap wandering aliens or simply to protect his base from unwanted guests. The update also includes a new skill tree system that will allow a player to spend points in the areas of combat, mining, or engineering.

Although Fenix Fire Entertainment did not provide much updates on the skill tree system as the game is still in development, it is estimated that new features will be added to it.

Other highlights from the update include the ability to build the Osiris Armored Mech Unit, a weapon considered to be the most powerful in the game. The game also features randomized events which occur throughout a player's journey and include weather anomalies and crashed satellites.

Fenix Fire is yet to announce an official release date for the game, but it noted in the Early Access FAQ that the entire development process would take just a year. There might be some inevitable delay so it will be safe to think of the estimation as a mere speculation born from expectations.

For players who would like to get it on the action now, "Osiris: New Dawn" will cost $24.99.
