The Crow has really seen a lot of ups and downs over the years. In fact, with so much  start and stop, it is really difficult to keep track.

The movie had gone through a lot of troubles be it with potential actors, directors or facing legal troubles. No matter what the reason was, The Crow had faced severe criticism from its fans.

Keeping such things in mind, it is completely acceptable that fans won't believe what they read next. Yes, it is true, The Crow is all set to make a comeback in 2017. The shoot is set to begin in January along with director Corin Hardly.

But what's really amazing is the main lead of The Crow. According to The Wrap, the movie is expected to feature Jason Mamoa as the lead.

According to Slash Film, the movie is expected to start shooting early January 2017. The principal photography phase is also expected to start after Mamoa finished his Justice League shoots, that is scheduled to release in November,2017.

The news about Mamoa appearing as the main lead in The Crow was revealed last month and since then the fans are expecting its arrival.

The the original 1994 flick,  featured a young guy named Erick, who was a brutal attack victim, and later resurrected as a crow. The movie was all about how Eric went on to avenge his death. However, the latest flick seems to be a more of an adaptation of the actual source, the comic book by James O'Barr.

Now, it is perfectly acceptable if the audience don't believe about the coming back of The Crow until they are sitting in a theater watching it. But there's really one thing about the film that all fans need to appreciate. It simply doesn't sit dead like its protagonist.

So, maybe the audience might be back soon discussing about the teaser, trailer and cast of the flick. No matter what the fans assume, it sure won't be the last that they talk about The Crow.
