The New Year is round the corner and so is the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 (CES), which is one of the biggest tech fair in the World. Most of the companies announce their new products in CES and this year will be no different.

Speaking of the phones in particular, some exciting smartphones will be launched this. Tech giants of the smartphone industry have geared up for the next year and we have speculated some of their best offerings.

Samsung Galaxy S8: This will be the Korean tech giant's flagship device of 2017 complete with top notch specs. It is said to launch with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU or similarly powered Exynos variant in some regions coupled with 6GB of RAM. The device may come with a 4K screen this time - a first for Samsung phone, a 30MP shooter on the back and a 9MP shooter on the front. Samsung might kill the Note series completely instead we might see a "S8 Plus" version which will be a bigger and more powerful version of the Galaxy S8, Forbes reported.

LG G6: Based on the current-gen LG V20, LG will launch the G6 next year. The phone is expected to come with a 5.6 inch 4K display and possibly a modular design as seen on the LG G5. But LG might not move to curved displays this year, according to TrustedReviews, as the company has supply issues with curved screens. It is also supposed to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU with 4GB of RAM and possible a dual-camera configuration on the back.

Nokia P1: Nokia will rise again in 2017 offering its flagship device, Nokia P1 which is said to come in either 5.2 or 5.5 inches with a 2K display. The device is expected to feature a powerful 23MP Carl Zeiss camera. It should come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU with 6GB of RAM and would be IP68 certified.

HTC 11: HTC's latest offering might up the ante by offering 8GB RAM on a phone. It will be one of the most powerful phone of 2017 and will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU. There might be no changes made to the camera department and the company is expected to stick to 12MP shooter at the back and an 8MP selfie camera. The 5.2 incher is expected to come with a 2K screen and support for QuickCharge 4.0.
