Tech Giant Google entered the smartphone market with Pixel and Pixel XL models in October this year. A couple of Google Pixel users reported software freezing problem in their smartphones.

Many Android users report the freezing problem in their devices but it is strange that the complaint is coming from the Google Pixel devices. These smartphones are known for providing best android experience as android developer Google marketed these devices.

One user wrote on the Google product forum, "I have returned two Pixel XL phones due to this issue. I also experienced a defective microphone on both phones. The mic would randomly stop working and the person I was talking to could no longer hear me."

There is no fix time duration of this frozen issue. It can occur anytime and can freeze the phone from few seconds to few minutes.

According to some users, the cause of this problem is Life 360 family locator app. It worked for some users as after uninstalling that app, the issue was resolved. But this cannot be the only reason for this issue as users who don't use this app have also reported a frozen issue in their Pixel devices.

It is shocking that this is not the first problem which is discovered in Google Pixel devices. Some users also reported the audio and LTE connectivity problem in their devices. Though these issues were resolved through Android Nougat update.

As both Pixel and Pixel XL users are having the same problem, Android Police says that it might indicate a common hardware-software issue. One user posted a frozen screenshot in which home button and recent buttons were disappeared.

Till now, there is no accurate solution to this issue given by Google and they are still working to resolve this freezing issue. Google Pixel and Pixel XL are premium devices launched by Google and received a good response. Everyone is hoping that Google will resolve the problem shortly.
