Google's Project Fi is a wireless service which is a solution to lagging mobile network services. Google's phones Pixel and Nexus were designed with a new state-of-the-art radio built to work with multiple networks which make shifting between careers possible.

Project Fi intelligently shifts between multiple networks and automatically connects a user to the best available signal. It is partnered with Sprint and T-Mobile to offer a cheap phone service with better coverage than other networks.

Project Fi was launched in 2015. First, it was an invite-only program but now everyone can get that. It is available in Google's self-branded smartphones Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5X.

Users just have to sign up and they can get the SIM kit at their doorstep. Once, the SIM arrives, users have to install the Project Fi app on their smartphones. As written in Latin Post, the phones must be unlocked variants or else it won't work with the service. Also, the phones require at least Android 5.1 Lollipop to use the service.

Users need to plug in the charging cable so that the phone doesn't shut down during the installation and phone must be connected to a Wi-Fi network. After the completion of installation, a user needs to switch off the phone and insert the Fi SIM card.

Then, turn the phone on and follow the onscreen steps. After that, users can transfer their existing number or new Fi number. Users are required to check whether the SIM is working or not by using mobile data, making a phone call or sending a text message.

Users have to make sure that the app is up to date for better performance. Users are required to set their smartphones to automatically connect to a verified and secure Wi-Fi network to limit the amount of mobile data usage and weak network problem.

Users can make calls over Wi-Fi, turn the phone into a hotspot for up to 10 devices, and set alerts to limit the data usage and monthly bill.

Project Fi by Google is very simple to use and provides better connectivity on Nexus and Pixel smartphones.
