Niantic's Pokémon GO was one of the biggest successful game of this year and even after this great success it will never get back to the heights of popularity it began with.

Pokémon GO is still getting regular updates. The developer said that they are working hard on some features of the game to make the game even more enjoyable.

There is a huge demand from Pokémon GO fans to be able to trade Pokémons within the game because this will allow the players to complete their collections in a faster way.

According to BGR, Pokémon GO's upcoming update will bring Pokémon trading. John Hanke, the CEO of Niantic disclosed that they plan to release the trading feature within the near future. However, he did not elaborate how the trading feature will work.

There are some crucial patents from Niantic which disclose details how the trading will work within the game. As stated in Ranked Boost, the virtual world in Pokémon GO is designed to give an illusion that the virtual world is within a hidden dimension of the real world.

Basically, Pokémon GO has a virtual world with a geography that parallels the geography of the real world. The patent reveals that Niantic has also developed a virtual transport system.

This virtual transport system will be used to transport Pokémons inside the virtual world. Pokémon GO will have virtual aircraft, virtual trains, and virtual buses to transport the Pokémons all around the world which also mirrors the real world transport system.

These virtual vehicles will also follow the routes and the schedules of the real world counterparts. A user needs to visit a bus stop, airport or train station to initiate a trade with another player.

The developers have the patents for trading the Pokémons within the virtual world. So if Niantic rewards this virtual trading system then it will be pretty amazing for sure.
