2016 had been an exciting year for technology and some major advancements were made in that field. 2017 too will be the year of tech and we have speculated some major gadgets and devices that we have been waiting for over the years.

Apple iPhone 7s

It is certain that Apple will release a new iPhone model in 2017 but there will be some major changes which have boosted our excitement anticipating this smartphone. iPhone 7s is tipped to come in two variant and there will be another iPhone completely different from these two variants which has been dubbed iPhone 8. iPhone 8 is allegedly reported to have an OLED screen, a dual lens camera, wireless charging and an all-glass body reports Mirror. iPhone 7s on the other hand will be an incremental update over iPhone 7 just like the iPhone 6s was over the iPhone 6.

Samsung Galaxy S8

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the Samsung's flagship smartphone for 2017 and will be a leap ahead of the rivals in terms of technology and features. The device is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB RAM. Additionally, it is expected to be IP68 certified and will have an OLED screen with a completely glass body. However, fingerprint sensor will be embedded in the home screen as reported by MSN.

Xbox 2: Project Scorpio

Microsoft's next gen console is expected to make waves in 2017 reports Yahoo. The console will be more powerful than Sony Playstation 4 Pro when it launches. It will have 4K compatibility, VR compatibility and it will be backwards compatible with Xbox One content.

Tesla Model 3

Tesla has created cutting edge electronic cars over the past few years and next year they will launch an affordable version reports Stuff. Tesla Model 3, is said to be a lower version of the immensely popular Tesla Model S and will have the same self-driving features and is expected to cost around $40,000.

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo's first hybrid gaming console is expected to launch in March 2017. It is a unique gaming device which can be docked and undocked depending on the use. Nvidia's Tegra X1 SoC is said to power the device so the battery life would be good and it will help users experience the best of both worlds.
