If you thought 2016 was a total bummer wait for 2017. There are already confirmed disappearances of famous TV shows and welcoming of darker looming things that no one needs or wants....and the year has not even started yet.

The popular TV series "Girl Meets World" that has been airing and gaining viewers since June 24, 2014 has finally bid its goodbye. With the many main characters on the show, that means Disney has to bid them goodbye too.

After Miley, Demi, Lindsay and the whole lot of them found their separate ways that did not include Disney, everyone was pretty heartbroken. But now, the adorable cast of "Girl Meets World" will be leaving too but to where is still not confirmed.

Rider Strong, the famous actor who plays Uncle Shawn on "Girl Meets World" (as well as "Boy Meets World") decided to shed some light on the undecided and rumor filled situation. He was pretty straight forward with the whole thing.

No sugar coating was being done. His take on the matter worded with his actual words;

"We finished the third season of Girl Meets World - my brother and I were directing a lot of episodes and I acted in a couple - and the show ended."

Who could have put it better? Just rip the band aid off Uncle Shawn. But if the fans still have hope that is okay! Although it should be known that    the episode being released on January 20, 2017 will be supposedly titled 'Girl Meets Goodbye'.

Not just that but this episode which is being released on January 20, is said to be the show's finale. Now why would a TV show release a finale and still continue production?

BUT, no promises have been made and Disney has not yet issued an actual and professional testament, the fans of the show can still be hopeful.
