Robert Downey. Jr could be the 100 million man if he appear in the next MCU installment as 'Iron Man'. This due to an arrangement between the actor and Marvel Studios. And that amount could double if he wants to, and an extra amount with the merchandising sales.

According to NewYorkDailyNews, the initial budget for the upcoming 'Avengers : Infinity Wars' is around 340 Milllion, with a possibility that's including the fee for RDJ's involvement. There is an anonymous source in the report that states "Marvel knows that he is their quarterback for these films leading the fans through the adventures to have to find a new Tony Stark and make fans love him would be a near on impossible challenge."

The Possibility For 'Iron Man 4'

Although the release dates for the next 'Iron Man' movie is still a rumor and yet to be confirmed, there is a speculation that says the movie will be released sometime around 2019 or 2020. But there's a report that states the rumor is picked out of nowhere, because Marvel had already announced its releases for 2016 to 2019, which also known as 'Marvel Phase 3'and the movies that RDJ will have a role at is in 'Avengers : Infinity War' parts 1 and 2. There is a mystery project by Marvel that slated for 2020 release, but it's very unlikely that it's an 'Iron Man' movie.

Furthermore, there are other rumors that says RDJ's 'Iron Man' will be killed in the next 'Avengers' movie. one of the reasons why the character will be killed is to end the involvement of both the Iron Man and Robert Downey. Jr himself.  Of course there is a possibility that Marvel Studios will follow in the footsteps of its comics counterpart, where in the current run of 'Iron Man' comic books, Tony Stark is presumed dead/missing, and replaced by female African-American teenager protégé of Tony's named Riri Williams.
