A report from Taiwan suggested that Smartphone maker HTC is planning on launching a series of smartphones this year. Also they will be announcing the first device at a press conference on January 12, 2017.

HTC has been struggling quite a bit in the past year, Inspite having some solid devices including the high-end Bolt and 10. The new phablet codenamed as 'Ocean.' As, report claims that the Ocean Note phablet will have a rear camera with the highest DxOMark score from the entire smartphone category and could ditch the standard 3.5mm headphone port.

Initially, when Google compared the Pixel and Pixel XL, the HTC Ocean Note smartphone received a DxOMark score of 89. This has been the highest-rated smartphone camera ever tested. However, it appears like HTC's Ocean Note will top the DxOMark score.

Also HTC will announce three new smartphones in the first quarter, according to the latest report from Taiwan. The device will be a mid-range X10 and is expected to come up with 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek's Helio P10 processor, 3 GB of RAM, and a 13 MP rear camera. The device will be available in both single and dual-SIM versions. Since, HTC has not confirmed any of the rumors regarding the device; just these are guesses for now.

The company will be releasing the second device, which is most likely as HTC 11 (codenamed HTC Ocean) at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which will take place on February 27 in Barcelona. The third smartphone HTC plans on announcing next year might be a phablet. Now, currently the company is working on a device called HTC Ocean Note which can be a bigger version of the upcoming HTC 11.

Let's hope that these devices can bring new things to the table that can able to spark consumer interest, for the sake of HTC.
